I'm willing to bet you that fixing this takes a bit more than buying Eternabond tape. Not a pessimist, just a realist..........
I took that roof rail thing off of ours. Too many holes in an otherwise leakproof roof. I don't need to haul stuff up there anyways.

Here's some advice - don't buy Pep Boys or K-mart filters. As far as I'm concerned buy WIX, NAPA, Fleetguard, whatever.
Unless you're going out of the way to buy very expensive and effective filters those 3 brands will do it for ya. Personally I now buy Fleetguard or Wix. In order of distance from my house.
All this other stuff about "I'd never use x, y, or z" is just machismo. Probably from people that can't tell you much about their engine other than the type of fuel it takes, the filter numbers, or what the owners manual says.
My Dodge has 260K on it, nearly all with Fram filters. Still runs like a top, though the oil pressure is getting low.

Go to McMaster Carr and search for item #94290A509. This is what held my ladder together. You can also get these for square tubes.
I decided to take my ladder off. It made holes in the roof, holes in the roof are bad.
Besides if I left it on, my kids would be playing on the roof.

I know we have strayed well away from the OP, but thought I'd add more.
I'm doing the final prep for repaint. And "blocking" takes on a whole new meaning. Throw away the long board sander! Nothing is flat and straight!
I also am happy with how the texture of the filon will fill with primer surfacer. Right now I'm only feathering out repairs and touch ups and laying on a guide coat here and there. After sanding, the primer ends up looking mottled due to filling in the low spots, but hitting it with gloss black paint confirms darn near perfectly smooth. We'll be hitting the whole thing with surfacer in the booth.
I also picked up some lightweight body filler called Evercoat Polyflex. I am using it to fill the stress carcks and checking on the front cap. If you have ever used bondo before, this stuff is very thin texture. Slightly runnier than toothpaste. Fills very small cracks well. Block sands nicely with 320.
I figure there's no way to stop the stress cracks, other than to store indoors - which I'll be doing. So I'm just filling and blending them away. The SEM spray can primer surfacer does well with some of the very minute checking.
Also, for any of you contemplating changing your graphics. There will be significant "ghosting" of the old graphics because the gelcoat doesn't get baked away by the sun. Obviously duration to UV exposure is the big factor. I am surprised how bad the one side was that was parked against the barn, never got direct sun, for 6 years. I'm repainting, so I am sanding that away. But if not repainting, you will see the old graphics. Plus the color form the vinyl bleeds into the FRP, and the gelcoat doesn't yellow under the graphics, etc.
BTW - I apparently haven't bought paint in a long time! The Chroma base for most of the colors is now $286 a gallon! The blue is $480!
When I last painted my car I bought the single stage PPG deltron blue metallic for $80 a gallon!

Go to a welding supply place and get a nitrogen or CO2 tank setup. You will likely need to order a regulator for "high" pressures - like 100psi. Most welding gasses are under 30psi.
I've used a small CO2 bottle to run a trim-nailer for punch list work. We can run a pit stall at a car race all weekend on one 240 cu ft nitrogen tank. Including impact wrenches, blow nozzles, etc.
I used to regularly hire millrights, pipefitters, and riggers that had air chucks right on their welding carts for running grinders, needle scalers, and other air tools.

When I was on a trip through PA to buy a new truck for my business my credit card number was swiped. I only handed that card to a real person at one gas station. Everything else was a different card, cash, or pay at the pump.
3 days later people were charging thousands of dollars for gas in Spain and Portugal. My bank closed our account for 7 days to see what else would come through. If I did not have a business account to draw from I don't know what I would have done for finances for a week.
The best part is I had a VERY accurate description of the "woman" who I handed my card to as she was rather "unique" looking. But no one asked, or bothered to investigate. Apparently the police are too busy protecting us from speeders.

Its not mold. It's soot and accumulated dust and fumes. They accumulate there due to cold surfaces from the structure within.
Always run your cooktop exhaust while cooking
no candles
no "vent free" heaters
seal the engine compartment - believe it or not many of the seams are not caulked
use a small air filter - no ozone
clean the ceiling and use scotchgard on it.

Oh, you will have a problem shining IR sensors against the rotor surface. It's too shiny and will give a weird reading. Shine it at the edge, against the rusty cooling ribs.

Just to point out the obvious. You can also measure from the shoulder of the thread of one tire to the other. Just make sure you go from inner shoulder to inner shoulder or outer to outer. Or go from the same side of the same row of lugs in the tread, etc.
These points are just easier to see and hook a tape measure on than the invisible centerline.

If you are ever near Caledonia, NY (Rochester) call TSS foam products. They just made 4 mattresses and several couch cushions, etc. Some were dual and triple density. Prices are very reasonable.

I've had them make many things for me over the years. They can also make covers or upholstery for them.

As someone else said check with the state you will end up with a salvage title so make sure you can get tags AND insurance after you do the repair.
This will be your problem. As a retired P&C Insurance Agent, most companies will not insure a vehicle with a salvage title. This means you will not be able to get a tag so you cannot drive it on the road. Getting the salvage title changed to a clear title can be costly and very time consuming.
I disagree completely. I've owned 7 salvage vehicles, and will likely buy another at auction this Wednesday. The insurance company doesn't even ask.

You know, I must insist. My statement is true. Sorry to be picky globe, but lets be clear. My original statement was...
"A true 240 volt outlet will only have 2 wires + ground, no neutral."
I didn't say anything about a service to your house, neither did the OP.
Since there is so much confusion about what to do after the panel, I sure didn't want to bring up what to do before the panel.!
Lets face it. 99.9% of people who may ever read this post will NEVER touch the wires leading from the pole to their house. And actually, there's lots of rules that apply to wires after the breaker panel that do not apply to the wires before the breaker panel. So lets try and keep somewhat focused to the OP. No one was suggesting to connect the RV to the grid as a primary panel. And I've never seen an outlet connected to the service entrance conductors.
And if you really want to split hairs. The 240v hot leads on the service entrance cable DO NOT NEED THE NEUTRAL TO FUNCTION. But you had better utilize the ground.

You're right about the black tape thing, but I have only ever worried about it at a junction box. If both ends of the wire are either connected to a breaker or a receptacle it's obvious.
I can't get at my panelbox that has the breaker in it for my plasma cutter and welder. This is as close as I can get to showing you how your RV connection is wired.....

Yes, those are alligator clips on the neutral and ground wires. The green wire goes to the ground bar, and the white wire goes to the neutral bar. However, you better not use clamps. Use the screws in the bar! 8-)
This is a pigtail we use for the business to plug machines in, or I have a 50' extension cord made up that will give you two 20 amp circuits.
Wait though, one of you guys will bust me. That is a regular 30 amp breaker.
The extension cord I made up has two resettable 20 amp push-button breakers. I used the push-button 20's to avoid having to climb back down to the panel if a breaker wants to trip.
Techincally and legally (for a business) I have a 30A GFCI breaker that is normally on this pigtail. The GFCI is required because an extension cord is considered temporary power. However the last time I used this the GFCI breaker would not set, probably from inhaling too much dust. We just used this for temp power at a wedding, and the show must go on...........
